With his ninth point scored against the San Antonio Spurs, Zion Williamson reached the 2,000 career point mark after, tying two legends like Rick Barry and Elgin Baylor for 10th fastest in NBA history.
According to NBA.com 79 is the fewest number of games needed to reach 2,000 points since Michael Jordan (73 in 1985).
This season Williamson is averaging 27 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.6 assist per game, shooting 61% from the field and 70% from the foul line.
He ended the game against the Spurs with 33 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assist:
