Dreamland Gran Canaria has confirmed that Žiga Samar (Jesenice, Slovenia, 2001) will remain with the team for the 2025-26 season. The 24-year-old point guard will continue under Jaka Lakovic after joining the team in January on loan from ALBA Berlin.
Last ACB season, Samar averaged 5.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 14 minutes over 18 games, becoming an important piece during the team’s run to the Copa del Rey semifinals. He will share the point guard duties with Andrew Albicy and Carlos Alocén for the upcoming campaign.
