The Serbian coach denied any talks with the Catalan club and will delay a decision on his future until later this month

Zeljko Obradovic has dismissed rumors linking him to FC Barcelona, which is looking for a new head coach after the confirmed departure of Xavi Pascual.

Speaking to Gigantes del Basket, the nine-time EuroLeague champion made his position clear: “Barca hasn’t spoken to me. Nobody, really, because I’m completely out of the loop. I don’t know what I’ll do yet.”

Obradovic, currently on a sabbatical, said he will not rush a decision before domestic seasons around Europe are completed: “I haven’t even said I want to return to coaching. I have to think things through and reflect on everything.”
