Zeljko Obradovic ahead of Real Madrid: “We have to stop their pace and limit our mistakes”

Zeljko Obradovic previewed Panathinaikos’ EuroLeague Round 10 clash with Real Madrid, stressing the need to control the tempo and cut down on turnovers. “Every EuroLeague game is difficult. Real plays fast, so we have to play well to stop their rhythm,” Obradovic said. “We need to control our offense, not allow them to run and limit our mistakes.”

The Panathinaikos coach also addressed Real Madrid’s absences: “I know the news about Campazzo, but they have enough quality on their roster to play well and cover those absences.”

Obradovic also provided an update on Nikos Rogkavopoulos: “He is not in a position to play right now. He is going day by day, but he is still not ready to help us.”
