Zalgiris’ Lukas Lekavicius out for a month after appendicitis surgery

Zalgiris Kaunas has received another piece of bad news. Lukas Lekavicius will be out of the rotation after a trip to Germany.

On Tuesday, Zalgiris played their EuroLeague Round 12 match against ALBA in Berlin.

After the game, Lekavicius started to feel abdominal pains. After returning to Kaunas and undergoing tests, it turned out that he needed appendicitis surgery.

After the surgery, it became clear that Lekavicius would miss about a month of basketball.
