Zalgiris Kaunas has rejected Olympiacos’ bid for Sylvain Francisco, meaning the player will not be leaving Lithuania.
Zalgiris Kaunas has reportedly rejected Olympiacos’ attempt to sign Sylvain Francisco, an excellent point guard who played for the Lithuanian club last year.
According to Eurohoops, the Greek club contacted Zalgiris in an attempt to bring the player to Piraeus. However, despite the good relations between the clubs, Zalgiris deemed a deal ‘impossible’.
Last season, Francisco averaged 12.6 points and 3.9 assists per game in the EuroLeague, establishing himself as a key player for the club.
