Zalgiris Kaunas has signed Moses Wright on a one-year deal to boost its frontcourt, the club announced. The 26-year-old American center, 207 cm tall, arrives from Olympiacos, where he played in the EuroLeague Final Four and won the Greek league title.
“Moses was a priority for us,” said Zalgiris President Paulius Jankunas, highlighting Wright’s athleticism and defensive presence. Wright averaged 8.1 points and 2.9 rebounds with Olympiacos last season, showing flashes of potential that Zalgiris aims to develop further.
Wright expressed excitement about joining Zalgiris, praising the club’s environment as ideal for development in Europe. He will bring needed physicality to Zalgiris as they prepare for the upcoming EuroLeague season.
