Dario Drežnjak, 23-year old player, is the new Zadar member. The talented 204 cm tall power forwards is coming to Zadar from his hometown club Široki, for which he used to play last season.
Young Dario Drežnjak has had a remarkable season in ABA League 2, where he has been averaging 17 points and 7 rebounds in 13 appearances. He has agreed on cooperation with Zadar for 4 seasons.
“The arrival to Zadar is a big step forwards in my career and as a player, I always used to be ambitious and I believe that Zadar is the best possible club for my future development. I believe that I am still young as a player and that I have plenty of space for improvement. The experience from the ABA League 2 is invaluable to me. ABA League is a bigger stage, but with a proper approach I can help Zadar. I expect one exciting season. ABA League has never been stronger and this will be a great challenge for all of us. I cannot wait for the first games to begin,” Drežnjak told, as he signed with the Dalmatian basketball pride.
