LDLC ASVEL have announced the return of Yves Pons for the 2026-27 season. The 27-year-old, 1.97m French power forward previously played for the Villeurbanne club during the 2022-23 campaign.
Pons is known for his athleticism, energy and defensive impact. Developed in the United States at the University of Tennessee, where he became one of the top defenders in the NCAA, he later played for the Memphis Grizzlies, in the G League and across Europe.
A French international, Pons returns to the domestic league aiming to take another step in his career while bringing versatility, intensity and experience to Tony Parker’s roster. He will wear No. 35.
