Yves Missi, Alex Sarr named NBA Western and Eastern Conference Rookies of the Month

New Orleans Pelicans center Yves Missi and Washington Wizards forward-center Alex Sarr were voted NBA Rookies of the Month for December respectively for the Western and Eastern Conference.
Missi, a Cameroonian big man selected by New Orleans at No. 21 in the last NBA Draft, wrapped up December with averages of 11.2 points (57%FG), 10 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.
Sarr, the second overall pick, put together 13.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.7 blocks in the last month, shooting a very promising 44% from long distance.
