Youssouf Traoré leaves Zaragoza for a new chapter in the NCAA

The 2006-born Malian talent has activated his release clause and will continue his career at UTEP in the United States.

Youssouf Traoré is leaving Casademont Zaragoza to begin a new chapter in the United States. The Malian forward has activated the release clause in his contract and will join UTEP, The University of Texas at El Paso, where he will compete in the NCAA.

Born in 2006, Traoré came through Zaragoza’s youth system and gradually became part of the club’s structure. In recent seasons, he also featured for the U22 team while earning opportunities to train with the senior squad.

Basket Zaragoza thanked Traoré for his work during his time at the club and wished him the very best for the next chapter of his sporting and personal career in the United States.
