Yiftach Ziv joins Hapoel Tel Aviv on a three-year deal

Israeli guard Yiftach Ziv signs with Hapoel Tel Aviv through 2028 ahead of the club’s historic EuroLeague debut

Hapoel Tel Aviv has signed Yiftach Ziv (30, 1.91m) to a three-year contract. He averaged 10.2 points, 4.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals last season with Hapoel Holon.

Ziv had a standout year in 2020/21 with Galil Gilboa, earning Israeli Player of the Year honors and reaching the finals. He also played for Maccabi Tel Aviv, and had recent stints in Spain and France.

“I’m thrilled to join in such a historic season,” said Ziv. Coach Itoudis praised his “athleticism and experience,” while sporting director George Chinas called him “a strong mental and technical asset.”
