The EuroLeague Head Coaches Board general assembly unanimously elected its new leadership

Xavi Pascual is the new president of the EuroLeague Head Coaches Board, while Sergio Scariolo has been elected vice-president. The EHCB general assembly voted unanimously for the new leadership structure.

Pascual and Scariolo succeed Dimitris Itoudis and Ioannis Sfairopoulos, who led the association over the past four years. Itoudis highlighted the work done to expand the EHCB and strengthen its voice in European basketball.

“We will continue the work that made EHCB one of the main stakeholders in the European basketball ecosystem,” Pascual said. Scariolo added that coaches have a duty to be “a strong voice” for the benefit of the game.
