Niels Giffey will stay with FC Bayern Munich until 2027 after signing a two-year contract extension

FC Bayern Basketball has signed Niels Giffey to a contract extension through summer 2027.

The 33-year-old small forward, a 2023 World Cup winner and EuroLeague’s most accurate three-point shooter (60.5%), has been key for Munich since 2022. Giffey expressed joy in continuing with a united core.

He’s averaging 8.7 PPG in BBL and played a crucial role in recent wins over Partizan and Würzburg.
