Wizards GM Sheppard supports Bertans’ decision to skip the remainder of the season

In an interview with The Athletic’s Fred Katz, Washington Wizards GM Tommy Sheppard has supported Davis Bertans’ decision to sit out the remainder of the NBA season.

“We certainly support his reasons for not playing. We know how much Davis means to this team moving forward”, he said. Bertans averaged a career-high 15.4 points per game for the Wizards this season.
