Washington Wizards Agree to Contract Extension with Deni Avdija

The Washington Wizards and wing Deni Avdija have agreed to a four-year, $55 million rookie scale extension. The deal is fully guaranteed, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. Avdija averaged career-highs of 9.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists last season and is also regarded as a solid defender. Avdija’s extension is roughly equivalent to the four-year Non-Taxpayer MLE.
