The Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers have never had serious talks on a trade for Ben Simmons, as reported by Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
The Warriors were one of the teams to receive a call from Daryl Morey as he asked for a package of Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman, the seventh and 14th picks in the draft and two future first rounders. The Warriors declined to discuss further and there was never any bargaining. Neither side has circled back in the more than a month that has passed since the draft.
