Steve Kerr’s future with the Golden State Warriors remains undecided. According to ESPN, the coach met Monday for two hours with controlling owner Joe Lacob and general manager Mike Dunleavy.
The meeting was described as productive, but both sides are expected to reconvene next week. Kerr, who just completed his 12th season as Warriors head coach, is reportedly torn about whether to continue.
The decision is also tied to the franchise’s basketball direction: staying competitive around Stephen Curry and Draymond Green or entering a reconstruction phase. Golden State has not started any coaching search at this stage.
