Stephen Curry missed Wednesday’s Golden State Warriors loss to the Miami Heat due to right ankle soreness, joining Draymond Green (illness) and Jimmy Butler (back) on the sidelines.
Curry first tweaked the ankle during his 49-point performance in San Antonio and aggravated it again Tuesday in Orlando. The team ruled him out six hours before tipoff, targeting Friday’s home game vs. Portland for a possible return.
Buddy Hield added 18 points in extended minutes, but Golden State — ending a stretch of 17 games in 29 days — couldn’t keep pace, falling 110-96.
