The Golden State Warriors are in ongoing discussions with the Chicago Bulls regarding a trade for Nikola Vucevic, per Brian Windhorst of ESPN. The Warriors are looking to upgrade at center, with Vucevic considered one of the top available options.
Following the addition of Jimmy Butler and with Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green in the frontcourt, Golden State needs more floor spacing. Vucevic fits that need perfectly, shooting 39.4% from three on 4.6 attempts per game this season.
Vucevic re-signed with the Bulls during the 2023 offseason on a three-year, $60 million deal through the 2025-26 season. The Warriors have several expiring contracts that could be part of the trade package.
