Vlatko Cancar is returning to San Pablo Burgos for the 2026/27 season. The 1997-born Slovenian forward, standing 2.01 meters, will begin his second stint with the Coliseum club, which will compete in Liga Endesa and the BKT EuroCup.
Cancar previously played for Burgos between 2018 and 2019 before moving to the NBA with the Denver Nuggets. He spent six seasons in the United States and won the 2023 NBA championship, the first in the history of the Colorado franchise.
After his NBA experience, Cancar joined Milano for the 2025/26 season, playing two EuroLeague games before suffering a knee injury that forced him into a long recovery process. His return to Burgos now marks a new chapter in his European career.
