After renewing Dusko Ivanovic, Virtus Bologna is reportedly close to signing Saliou Niang and Mikael Jantunen for next season
According to Repubblica Bologna and EuroDevotion, Virtus Bologna is finalizing deals with Saliou Niang (Trento) and Mikael Jantunen (Paris).
Niang, a 2004-born Italian forward, averages 7.7 points and 5 rebounds in LBA. Jantunen, a 204 cm Finnish forward, previously played in Treviso and now stars in EuroLeague. His contract with Paris expires in 2025.
The former Virtus Bologna captain revealed that he is no longer working with the club and also commented on its new roster.
The forward’s protective splint has been removed, allowing him to return to team practices sooner than expected.
