Virtus Bologna are already active on the market for next season. According to Sportando, negotiations are underway to bring John Petrucelli to the Bianconeri.
Petrucelli, a 1992 Hicksville graduate and Italian international, has one year left on his contract with Pallacanestro Brescia, but with a reduced buyout for EuroLeague teams.
Coming to Italy in 2021 at the instigation of Marco De Benedetto, Petrucelli is now a player of great interest on the national market. According to Sportando, the virtussina proposal would be on a two-year basis.
With an extraordinary EuroLeague on the line and a Scudetto sprint on the horizon, the Bianconeri are wasting no time in launching an ambitious plan for next season.
