Marcus Carr is a new Virtus Bologna player. The club announced a multi-year agreement with an option for the 1999-born Canadian combo guard.
Carr, 1.88m, joins after a strong season with Würzburg in both the German Bundesliga and the Basketball Champions League. In Bundesliga play, he averaged 17.3 points and 5.7 assists, establishing himself as one of the most effective guards in the competition.
His numbers were even stronger in the Champions League, where he averaged 17.5 points, 6.7 assists and 3.2 rebounds. Since 2024, Carr has also been a regular with the Canadian national team, averaging 17 points, 7 assists and 3.3 rebounds in World Cup qualifying.
