Virtus Bologna is targeting French forward William Howard, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, and the two sides may be close to a deal. Howard would be Virtus’ third French player on the roster after Jaiteh and Cordinier and would reach Italy after two Euroleague seasons with ASVEL
Virtus, however, has to weigh the case of Kevin Hervey, under contract for next season but not in Scariolo’s plans. The player has drawn interest from Joventut Badalona, according to Corriere di Bologna, but his departure may be the condition for a further signing by the Eurocup champions
