Virtus Bologna Parts Ways with Matt Morgan After Two Seasons

Morgan is expected to continue his career in Greece, where he will become one of the main players of the ambitious Aris BC under coach Vassilis Spanoulis.

Virtus Bologna has thanked Matt Morgan for his two seasons with the club.

The guard made 144 total appearances in a Virtus jersey and was one of the key contributors during the season that brought the club its 17th Italian championship title. He also finished as the team’s third-leading scorer in the recently completed campaign.

“Thank you, Matt, and best of luck for the next chapter of your career,” Virtus Bologna said in its farewell message.
