Virtus Bologna have officially reached an agreement to extend Momo Diouf’s contract.
The 2001-born center joined Bologna in the summer of 2024 and will continue wearing the black-and-white jersey after a season in which he earned an increasingly important role in the team’s rotation. A regular member of the Italian national team setup, Diouf provided minutes, physical presence and consistency, finishing with double-digit PIR averages both in the domestic league and in EuroLeague.
“I am very happy to stay in Bologna, a place I now consider a second home, and to start my third season with the Virtus jersey,” Diouf said. “I can’t wait to get started again, always trying to improve to help the team and my teammates and give my best for this club.”
