Alex Mumbru previews the Fenerbahce opener: “One of the toughest courts, but we are improving every day”

Virtus Bologna will open its EuroLeague season at Fenerbahce on Friday, September 25, at 7:45 p.m. CET. The game will be broadcast in Italy on Sky Sport Basket, Now and Nettuno Bologna Uno. Kevin Kokila is the only unavailable player.

“A very difficult game awaits us on one of the toughest courts,” Alex Mumbru told Virtus’ official website. “Fenerbahce is a top-level team that added some excellent players. We are improving day by day and will adapt according to the type of game.”

Derrick Alston Jr. views the matchup as a major opportunity: “We must play our style and maintain a very high level of concentration. For many of us, it will be our first EuroLeague game, so we need to be ourselves, be brave and have fun.”
