Virtus Bologna CEO: What we intend to do in the coming years has sparked EuroLeague interest

Luca Baraldi, CEO of Segafredo Virtus Bologna, gave an exclusive interview to il Carlino to discuss the meeting with EuroLeague executives in Barcelona.

“First of all, I would like to emphasize that the EuroLeague is in good hands. In our dialogue, Glickman proved to be a very knowledgeable manager and has a clear vision on how to continue developing this competition. What we intend to do in the coming years has sparked considerable interest, and I can say that the construction of the new Segafredo Arena played a significant role. We probably would have come home with a flat ‘no’ if our plans did not include the timely completion of a facility designed specifically to host high-level basketball.”
