Segafredo Virtus Bologna CEO Luca Baraldi during an interview with Sportal spoke about the team’s future in the Euroleague, while also confirming coach Sergio Scariolo on the bench for next season.
“This year we experienced very positive moments, such as the victories in Madrid with Real and in Barcelona, then certainly we lost some games we could have won but we are still very satisfied. We hope to stay in the Euroleague next year as well: the market for some players is related to that but we are working as if we are already sure of our place. As for Scariolo, he has the contract, so he is fully confirmed.”
Today a major Spanish newspaper reported on a meeting between Scariolo and the Real Madrid front office.
