Virtus, arrivals continue in Bologna: Edwards, Kokila and Bello landed yesterday, Alston today

The three players arrived at Marconi Airport yesterday. Edwards and Bello will undergo medical tests, while Kokila, who will not join Angola’s national team, will be immediately available to head coach Álex Mumbrú.

Virtus Bologna’s preparations for the new season are moving forward, with more players arriving in the city. Kessler Edwards, Kevin Kokila and Rasheed Bello landed at Marconi Airport yesterday, following the arrivals of Trent Frazier and Marcus Carr.

Edwards and Bello will now undergo their medical examinations, while Kokila had already completed his tests during his previous visit to Bologna about a month ago. As reported by Eugenio Petrillo in Il Resto del Carlino, the French-Angolan center will not join Angola’s national team and will therefore be available to Mumbrú from the first day of training.

Bobi Klintman, meanwhile, has already completed his medical tests and will join the Swedish national team for the upcoming FIBA commitments. Derrick Alston Jr. is expected to arrive in Bologna today, while Wendell Moore Jr. will join the team in the coming days.
