Victor Wembanyama Drops Triple-Double (27 p,14 r,10 b) in Spurs win over Raptors

It’s the sixth instance a rookie has recorded a triple-double inclusive of blocks, with Wembanyama becoming the fourth rookie to complete this line after David Robinson, Ralph Sampson and Mark Eaton

Victor Wembanyama scored the second triple-double of his rookie season, 27 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocks in the Spurs win over the Raptors.

For the French big man also 5 assists and 2 steals. Given his remarkable passing skills as well, the quadruple-double doesn’t seem such an unattainable goal…

“I felt great today,” Wembanyama said. “Great rhythm, started the game strong. I guess it’s just the NBA, you know. We’ve got ups and downs in terms of shape, and today was an up day.”
