Vezenkov suspended and fined in Greece after clash with Petropoulos

Sasha Vezenkov has been handed a one-game suspension and a €1,400 fine for abusive/insulting behavior stemming from the Olympiacos 98-85 win over Kolossos Rhodes and the exchange with Andreas Petropoulos.

The on-court confrontation happened in the fourth quarter: Petropoulos was hit with an unsportsmanlike foul, while Vezenkov was ejected after the altercation.

Petropoulos was also fined €1,800, and later posted on social media alleging his car’s brakes had been tampered with after the game.
