After a quick stint with the Suns, Hornets, and Bucks, Vasilije Micić has secured a buyout from the Milwaukee Bucks. The team respected his wish to return to Europe, clearing cap space for Myles Turner.
The 31-year-old waived $6.1M of his $8.1M contract for the 2025/26 season, receiving the remaining $2M in three yearly installments of $666,666. After the 48-hour NBA waiver period, he will be free to sign in Europe.
In 101 NBA games, Micić averaged 6.8 points and 3.9 assists, while in the EuroLeague, he shined with Efes, Zalgiris, and Crvena Zvezda, averaging 13.1 points and winning two titles.
