Pallacanestro Varese has officially announced a multi-year agreement with Hunter Hale, a 191-centimeter American guard who will join the red-and-white roster next season.
Hale is an offensively talented guard, able to create points off the dribble, on spot-up shots and in one-on-one situations. Varese also highlighted his pick-and-roll reads and his ability to create for teammates.
GM Zachary Sogolow said: “His offensive qualities, his ability to create for himself and for his teammates, and his competitive mindset fit perfectly with our system.”
Last season, Hale played in Turkey with Bahcesehir, helping the team reach the EuroCup semifinals. In European competition, he averaged 9 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
