Cremona has reached an agreement with the combo guard Marcus Zegarowski, 25 years old, to fill the void left by the early departure of Jordan Bone.
Zegarowski, selected at number 49 in the 2021 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets, will arrive in Europe for the first time after three seasons at Creighton University, where he averaged 14.1 points with a 42% three-point shooting from 2018 to 2021.
In the last season, he played in the G League with the Nets, Bulls, and especially the Spurs, where he averaged 8.7 points with 2.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
The player is known for his perimeter skills and will fit into Vanoli Cremona’s playing system.
