French center Neal Sako is close to joining Valencia after a breakout season with ASVEL Villeurbanne
Valencia is leading the race to sign Neal Sako, sources told BasketNews. The French big man made a major impact in his rookie EuroLeague campaign with ASVEL.
He averaged 9.0 points and 6.2 rebounds on 68% shooting, ranking 7th in total rebounds and 2nd in offensive boards. He also recorded five double-doubles.
At 2.11 meters tall, Sako would bring strong rebounding and inside presence to Valencia’s frontcourt as they aim to strengthen their roster.
