Valencia Basket has extended Jasiel Rivero’s contract through the end of the 2026-27 season. The Cuban big man with a Spanish passport had initially joined the team on a temporary deal.
Valencia Basket announced that Jasiel Rivero will remain with the club through the end of the season. The 1993-born forward-center returned to practice with the team in August before signing a one-month contract on August 31.
Rivero has appeared in three official games so far this season, averaging 8.6 points, 4 rebounds and an 8.3 PIR. This will be his third season with Valencia after his previous stint from 2021 to 2023. He has now reached 108 total appearances with the club.
