Valencia Basket have announced an agreement with TJ Shorts for the next two seasons, through June 30, 2028. The American point guard, who holds a North Macedonian passport, arrives as a free agent after his stint with Panathinaikos AKTOR.
With the Greek club, Shorts played his second EuroLeague season and was named Play-In MVP before the playoff series against Valencia Basket.
In his first season in Europe’s top competition, leading Paris Basketball, he was named to the All-EuroLeague First Team after averaging 19 points, 36.1% from three-point range, a league-best 7.3 assists and a 22.8 PIR.
