Valencia Basket have announced a contract extension for Brancou Badio, with the new deal now running through the end of the 2028-29 season. It is a strong move from the club, securing one of the key players in its current European campaign.
In his first full EuroLeague season, Badio has averaged 10.8 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists, while also bringing energy, intensity and defense that go beyond the box score. His contribution has been seen as crucial in helping Valencia qualify for the EuroLeague playoffs as a seeded team for the first time in club history.
Badio joined Valencia in the summer of 2025 from Baxi Manresa, where he had already played under Pedro Martinez for three seasons. Including Liga Endesa and Copa del Rey action, he has played 60 games so far this season with very similar production, and he has already reached 122 total appearances in taronja colors.
