Team USA wins 83-81 the final of the FIBA Under 19 World Cup against France, despite a sensational performance by Victor Wembanyama. The French phenomenon, conditioned by problems with fouls, finished with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 8 blocks and +7 plus / minus in 27 minutes.
For Team USA good performances by Michael Miles (11 + 7 + 6 assists and 4 steals), Kenneth Lofton Jr (16 + 7 + 2 assists) and Jaden Ivey (16 + 4 + 3 steals).
For France, in addition to Wembanyama’s losing effort, Louis Lesmond had 13 with 3/7 from long distance, while Rudy Demahis-Ballou finished with 10 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
