The Congolese center fractured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot and will undergo surgery

Unicaja Malaga has announced that Yannick Nzosa is expected to miss approximately three months because of a left foot injury.

According to the club, the Congolese center fractured his fifth metatarsal after playing only 3 minutes and 21 seconds in the friendly against Melilla Ciudad del Deporte.

Tests performed at Hospital Quirónsalud Málaga confirmed the diagnosis. Nzosa will undergo surgery this week, with his exact recovery timetable depending on his rehabilitation.
