Ibon Navarro is leaving Unicaja Malaga after four and a half seasons as head coach.

The coach exercised the exit clause included in his contract, which was set to run through next season. With Navarro on the bench, Unicaja won 7 titles: 2 Copas del Rey, 2 Basketball Champions League titles, 2 FIBA Intercontinental Cups and 1 ACB Supercopa.

Navarro leaves as the most successful coach in club history, with 180 wins in 261 games and a 68.97% winning percentage. Unicaja thanked him for his professionalism and dedication, stating that Malaga and the club will always be his home.
