Tyus Jones, Magic Agree to One-Year, $7M Deal

Tyus Jones has agreed to a one-year, $7 million deal with the Orlando Magic, per ESPN.

The 29-year-old joins Orlando after a season with the Suns following a career year with the Wizards, bringing with him one of the best assist-to-turnover ratios in NBA history. In 2023-24, Jones averaged 7.3 assists to just one turnover per game. While his assists dipped in Phoenix alongside Booker and Beal, he had his best 3-point shooting season, hitting 41.4% on five attempts per game.

Jones will join Desmond Bane and Jalen Suggs in a revamped Magic backcourt, providing the table-setting and floor management that Orlando needed to continue their rise in the Eastern Conference.
