According to reports from Matteo Andreani and Mozzart Sport, it appears that Tyrique Jones and Jabari Parker are increasingly close to leaving Partizan Belgrade.
The situation on the “Black and White” side of Belgrade is complicated, to say the least. The resignation of Zeljko Obradovic has not helped Partizan stabilize; on the contrary, the club is currently facing its most critical moment yet.
The team’s last two EuroLeague performances have been emblematic of the crisis. Under coach Penarroya, the squad suffered a crushing 41-point defeat against Zalgiris in Kaunas, followed by a 25-point home loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
In the wake of these results, tensions have flared—most notably a confrontation between fans and Tyrique Jones following the game against Maccabi.
A complete “revolution” of the roster may now be underway. The first two players expected to depart are Jones and Parker, the latter having reportedly never fully settled into the Partizan environment.
Regarding the American center (Jones), there is said to be strong interest from Olympiacos. Both players are expected to become highly sought-after opportunities on the transfer market.
