The American point guard leaves Pallacanestro Reggiana and joins his new club for next season
Troy Caupain is starting a new chapter in Turkey. Tbabzonspor officially announced the signing of the American point guard.
Caupain is coming off his stint with Pallacanestro Reggiana, where he was one of the team’s key technical and offensive leaders last season.
The club welcomed him with a social media post: “Welcome, Troy Caupain. Our team has added point guard Troy Caupain to the roster. We wish him a successful season in our jersey.”
The guard discussed his move after eight seasons with Anadolu Efes: “I will always have love and respect for them.”
Both teams will make their EuroLeague debuts in three days. Fenerbahce will host Virtus Bologna, while Besiktas will face Valencia at BJK Akatlar Arena.
