The Italian coach praises Roma’s offensive talent ahead of the matchup, highlighting Nico Mannion, Kelly Olynyk and several other players capable of causing problems.

PAOK Thessaloniki head coach Andrea Trinchieri has previewed his team’s EuroCup matchup against BC Roma, sharing his thoughts on the Italian side and the challenges they will pose.

TRINCHIERI’S COMMENTS: “We have had enough time to prepare for the game. We are facing a team full of talent. We are talking about real quality, with players who have NBA-level talent. Mannion, Olynyk and many others can create major problems for our defense. They have built a team that is very strong offensively. This means we will have to perform at our best defensively to be competitive.

It is an important game. We are back at home after the loss against Bahcesehir and, naturally, we want to take the court in front of our fans and deliver the best performance possible.

Roma are a team full of talent. They can score as many as 120 points. They have several players such as Stevenson, Strautins, Simonovic, Corey Davis and Watson. Honestly, every one of them is capable of scoring 20 points in a game.”
