Trey Lyles is heading back to the NBA after agreeing to a one-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Trey Lyles is heading back to the NBA after agreeing to a one-year contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The veteran forward returns to the league following a season with Real Madrid, where he continued to showcase his versatility and experience.

Lyles has previously played for the Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons and Sacramento Kings, averaging 7.6 points and 4.3 rebounds throughout his NBA career.

Minnesota adds an experienced frontcourt option capable of contributing at both forward positions, strengthening its depth as the franchise prepares for the 2026-27 NBA season.
