The Canadian forward had a productive year in Spain with Real Madrid

Trey Lyles is looking to return to the NBA after spending last season overseas with Real Madrid. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 12.5 points while shooting 49% from the field, 42% from three and 78% from the free-throw line over 74 games across all competitions.

Lyles also delivered a major performance in the EuroLeague final, finishing with 24 points, including 21 in the first half. That game further boosted his profile after his move from the NBA to Europe.

Real Madrid has reportedly started looking for possible replacements, anticipating Lyles’ move back to the United States. Even without immediate NBA opportunities, the forward could receive offers bigger than what Real Madrid can match.
