Tre Jones has agreed to a three-year, $24 million deal to return to the Chicago Bulls, ESPN reports. Jones impressed the team after arriving in the De’Aaron Fox trade and provided stability with his efficient play.
The 25-year-old averaged 11.5 points and 4.5 assists while shooting 57.2% before a left foot sprain ended his season in March. Jones also impressed with his ball security, averaging under one turnover per game last season.
The Bulls continue to prioritize young players with experience as they reshape the roster. Lonzo Ball was recently traded to Cleveland, while Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu remain under contract, and Josh Giddey is expected to stay as a restricted free agent.
